Med.IQ Terms of Use

  1. Introduction

    These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Med.IQ platform, including all content, features and services offered on our website. By accessing or using the platform, you accept and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use, regardless of whether you register as a user of the platform. If you do not wish to agree to these Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy, please do not access or use this platform.

  2. Changes to the Terms of Use

    Med.IQ reserves the right to modify or revise these Terms of Use at any time in its sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them on the platform and apply to all subsequent access to and use of the platform. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of revised changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

  3. Access and Use of Platform

    The Med.IQ platform is offered and available to users who are 18 years of age or older. By using this platform, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with Med.IQ and meet all eligibility requirements set forth in the platform's products. Med.IQ may revoke your use of the platform, in its sole discretion, at any time and for any reason, including, but not limited to, a violation of these Terms.

  4. Intellectual Property Rights

    The content and services offered on the Med.IQ platform, including, but not limited to, text, photos, videos, graphics, trademarks, logos, icons, images, audio clips, data compilations, and software, are the property of Med.IQ, its licensors or other providers of such materials and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

  5. Terms of Use and Access Restrictions:

    You may use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Platform:

    1. In any manner that violates any applicable federal, state, local or international law or regulation.
    2. To exploit, harm or attempt to exploit or harm minors in any way by exposing them to inappropriate content, asking for personally identifiable information or otherwise.
    3. To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with the content standards set out in these Terms of Use.
    4. To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent, including any "junk mail", "chain letter", "spam", or any other similar solicitation.
    5. To impersonate or attempt to impersonate another person or entity.
  6. Limitation of Liability

    In no event shall Med.IQ, its affiliates or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, directors or contractors be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform, any websites linked to it, any content on the Platform or such other websites or any services or items obtained through the Platform or such other websites, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including, but not limited to, personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business or anticipated savings, loss of use, loss of goodwill, loss of data, and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if predictable.

  7. Law and Jurisdiction

    These Terms of Use and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter or their formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of São Paulo, Brazil, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.
